show #1: greetings! and welcome to the brand new Dawn and Drew Show!

we’ve decided to start our own podcasting show and we’re going to do our best to record a new one every night for your listening pleasure. until we get some better equipment, we’re using garageband on my 12″ powerbook and recording mulitple tracks with the built in mic. we’re hoping to soon get a better mic at least but the quality is really pretty good considering.

our first show includes a little introduction and a song that we recorded out in one of our barns with me playing the djembe drum and dawn playing her indian flute.

i’ve been really digging what pete at rasterweb.net, adam curry at dailysourcecode.com and dave winer at secrets.scripting.com have been doing with their audio posting, and pete basically threatened me into joining the fray.

so we hope you enjoy and also subscribe to our RSS 2.0 feed that includes the mp3 enclosure. you could easily use any of the apps coming out these days like ipodder, ipodderX, renko, etc. that would basically load our show right into your iTunes and potentially right into your iPod or other mp3 device.
